We visited Sea Otter Boat Builders on Tuesday this week and the photographs below show the latest developments. There has been a slight problem with one of our specially engraved porthole windows which had to be returned to the manufacturers and until all the windows are available to be fitted, Tempranillo cannot enter the paintshop. But we ever hopeful that it will be solved this week.
Once the windows are in the next move is into the paintshop.
Forward Cabin. The step pulls out to make a double bed.
One of our portholes.
Something to keep us warm on a winter's evening.
The stern living and eating area.
Stern Cabin looking at the Galley. Cooker & Fridge still to be fitted.
The important little room.
Still lots to do. Sue and I have to decide on the font for the signwriting by tomorrow. Why are there so many fonts that all look the same? Should the name be all capitals? How big should the lettering be? It was easier to choose the soft furnishings!
We are sure we can agree and it will all be wonderful. We just cannot wait.
Visit again soon when we hope to show the official launch.
