BYE-BYE HARVEST MOON

Bit of a sad day yesterday. We handed over our first boat 'Harvest Moon' to its new owners. We had her for 11 years and enjoyed every minute of ownership. "The most used craft on the Marina" was a quote from one of our neighbours, and I would say that was very true. We had many a trip to Tescos or Sainsburys who both have moorings for shoppers along the Grand Union Canal, as well as many voyages to central London and Camden Market, to mention just a few!

In her home berth.

Three generations a-board.

Happy Days.

Lovely...but not a day for boating.

In contrast to the above, today was a really exciting day. We drove up to Derbyshire where "TEMPRANILLO' is being born to see how she was coming along. See for yourselves...

The engine is in.

Next visit is planned for 2 weeks time and delivery should be just in time for the August Bank Holiday weekend, all being well.
